General Print Requirements:
  • Max total ink density = 280%
    Anything above this will cause undesirable results such as 'muddy colours' .
  • Dark background images require at least 20% contrast or the lighter detail will be lost.
Finishing Artwork Requirements:
  • Must be vector
  • Set to a 'SPOT colour' named accordingly ie 'embossing' or 'foil stamping'
  • Minimum artwork width is not less than 0.25mm
  • Gap inbetween artwork is not less than 0.25mm
Rich Black: C: 50 | M: 40 | Y: 30 K: 100

Gap between foil and spot UV = 0.2mm
A 0.22 gap is highly recommended between foil and spot UV artwork. Please note there can be misalignment between the processes. We can add foil over the spot UV (no gap) however will not reprint the order if you are not happy with the results

Gap between differerent foil colour = 0.2mm
Overlapping foil stamp may cause a join mark due to the different pressures used for each foil press. The overlapping of foil will not adhere as well as foil straight on the card. It is recommended to include a gap of xxx between foils, Note there can be misalignment between the processes. We can add foil over another foil colour (no gap) however will not reprint the order if you are not happy with the results
